The Mass Gathering Medicine Interest Group (MGMIG) was formed in 2009, by individuals with a clinical and academic interest in the fields of emergency medicine, mass gathering medicine, and disaster medicine. As a group we are interested in developing theory and undertaking research to improve the care provided to those who attend mass gatherings.
