After a career that spanned over 28 years in policing, and after retiring from his position as Dean of the School of Criminal Justice and Security and Office of Internal Affairs at the Justice Institute of British Columbia, and having returned to Canada from his position as Senior Director of Vocational Affairs and Interim Dean of Faculty at Rabdan Academy in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Mike has gone back to the classroom as an adjunct faculty member at both the University of the Fraser Valley and the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
In this role, he will be delivering courses in their respective degree and diploma programs in the subject areas of law enforcement, criminal justice, policing, organized crime and terrorism. Mike continues to present on the national and international scene on police training and leadership principles and has travelled extensively and built solid relationships with other post secondary institutions both domestically and internationally including the Middle East, China, and The United Kingdom.
